A Message from Sheriff Wiley Griffin:  As Sheriff of Decatur County Georgia, I would like to welcome you to the Sheriff's Office website.  Our primary  goal is to protect the citizens of Decatur County. We are a team dedicated to preserving the quality of life for all  Decatur County citizens. Decatur County is located in the Southwest corner of Georgia, borders with Seminole County to the west, Grady County to the east, Miller, Baker and Mitchell Counties to the north and Gadsden County, Florida to the South. Our county seat is Bainbridge; other cities are Attapulgus, Climax and Brinson. Decatur County, one of the largest counties in Georgia, is 623 square miles of beautiful rural country setting.
